I live in Sardinia, and I’m based in Sassari and Gallura, where I often shoot both in OIbia and on the Coast and in Porto Cervo area, where I have many of my customers. I travel regularly all around Italy and Europe to photograph anywhere my services are requested. My main shooting locations abroad are Austria, Germany and France, though I traveled as far as New Zealand to shoot projects by Architect Savin Couëlle.
I worked with several Publishers, both Italian and foreign, for the “home, interiors and architecture photography” segment, and my works have been published on magazines such as World of Interiors, AD, Case & Stili, Ville & Casali, e per gli editori Condé Nast, Hachette, Class Editore, Cairo Editore, Electa.
I also photograph hotels as traveling and tourism are part of my business. I work with several hotel chains, tour operators, architects and international brands: Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Saint Hubertus Resort Cervinia, Sofitel Hotels & Resort , Gruppo Delphina, Starwood Hotels.
PHOTO EQUIPMENT AND GEAR
My technical equipment is suitable for any kind of shooting, but I built it to be specifically focused to deal with shootings that involve spaces and buildings. My main specialisations are interiors and architecture, though I’ve been shooting still life and food since I started my career as a professional photographer.
I use Canon EOS 5D cameras with a range of lenses, among which the entire series of Canon Tilt-Shift lenses.
Wherever a superior level of detail or major zooming is needed, as in jewellery photography, I use a Phase One digital back, often mounted on a SINAR view camera, or a Canon EOS 5D SR.
When artificial lighting is needed, I exclusively use Bowens and Profoto, battery-powered flashes, for external shootings or wherever electric power is not available.
